LG has announced its new LG Xcanvas 50PQ60D plasma TV set at company's showroom in Korea. The 50 inch devicce can save 60 percent of power by detecting ambient light and accordingly adjusting the brightness.

The high definition TV, has two speakers designed to be flush with the border, and is fitted with built in USB port to connect pen drives and portable media players.
